Gators Run The Field At Vanderbilt

November 9th, 2008 · No Comments

Today the Gators went down to Tennessee to face the commodores at home during a night game. Well the game just ended about ten minutes ago, and to say the least the Gators ran the field the entire night. When the third quarter hit the second string defense, and offense was out on the field, and there was anything that Vanderbilt could do. The game was at about 42-0 during the third quarter, and the final score ended up being Florida 42 Vanderbilt 14, Vandy was able to score 14 points during the fourth.

Vandy tried to come back in the end during the fourth quarter while we had our second string defense out there trying to defend. Vandy just really couldn’t do anything from the very start of the game, our game plan looked like it had been thought out more by Urban Meyer then Bobby Johnson had. I’m thinking Bobby might be having to find another team to coach after this season, because he’s really just not doing a good job, even Vanderbilt fans can agree with me there.

During Florida reign today out on Vandy soil Tim Tebow had a great game scoring a total of five touchdowns the first half. He scored three rushing touchdowns, and two passing touchdowns, which was all during the first half. After that Tebow really didn’t get out on the field much because we really didn’t need him, we had the second string offense out there with Brantley leading the offense for the remainder of the game.
